Back in Dominica now...I had some of my local friends over at my house last night and now this morning I had to come into town because the Peace Corps Director, Mr Gaddi Vasquez, is visiting from Washington. Wasn't too happy about having to come in today but attendance was mandatory. Anyway, chilling out right now with J.S. Bach and the 6 Cello Suites. Thanks to Steve for bringing them to NC with him. I love these pieces!

Well, the trip was great and am happy to be back now though. I am still working on completing my trip journal so I can post it here. As a prelude to that however, I will tell you that I had a wonderful time in North Carolina. The US Open was a really great experience and will hope to go again some other time when I am in a better position to afford going to all 4 rounds. I was disappointed about how Phil played but happy about Michael Campbell's win...happy as a Kiwi! Also enjoyed seeing my Mom and Dad, as well as Steve. Surprisingly, it wasn't that hot...and humidity was quite low.
